Composition of automatic sorting equipment


Automatic sorting equipment is mainly composed of four parts: control device, sorting device, conveying device, and sorting crossing.


Control device


The function of the control device is to identify, receive and process the sorting letter to instruct the sorting device to automatically classify the materials according to the type of material, the place of delivery or the category of the owner according to the requirements of the sorting signal.


Classification device


The sorting device works according to the sorting instructions issued by the control device. When materials with the same sorting signal pass through the device, the device acts to change the running direction of the materials on the conveying device to enter other conveyors or enter the sorting gate.


Conveying device


The main component of the conveying device is the conveyor belt or conveyor. Its main function is to make the materials to be sorted pass through the control device and the sorting device. Generally, several sorting crossings are connected to make the sorted materials slide down the main conveyor (or main conveyor). Conveyor belt) for subsequent operations.


Sorting crossing


The sorting crossing refers to the passage through which the sorted materials leave the main conveyor (or main conveyor belt) and enter the collection area. Generally, a slideway is composed of steel belts, belts, rollers, etc., so that the materials slide from the main conveyor to the collection platform. There, all the materials at the crossing will be collected and stored in the warehouse by the staff, or the vehicles will be assembled and distributed for distribution.




Sorting signal input


With the continuous development of the times, keyboard input and voice control input can no longer meet the development needs of modern storage. Therefore, laser scanning and radio frequency identification, which are born with demand, are widely used.


Automatically read barcodes with laser scanner


A barcode representing logistics information is affixed to the packaging of the picked materials, and the sorting information on the barcode is automatically recognized by a laser scanner on the conveyor belt and sent to the controller.


Because the scanning speed of the laser scanner is extremely fast, the barcode on the high-speed moving materials on the conveyor can be read correctly. The laser scanning bar code method is expensive, and the materials need to cooperate with the logistics bar code, but the input speed is fast, can be synchronized with the conveyor belt, and the error rate is very small. Large-scale distribution centers use this method.


Radio Frequency Identification Technology


Radio frequency identification technology is a non-contact automatic identification technology, which automatically recognizes the target object and obtains relevant data through radio frequency signals. The identification work does not require manual intervention and can work in various harsh environments. Radio frequency identification technology can identify high-speed moving objects and can identify multiple tags at the same time, and the operation is fast and convenient.


After the tag enters the magnetic field, it receives the radio frequency signal from the reader, and uses the energy obtained by the induced current to send the product information stored in the chip, or the tag actively sends a signal of a certain frequency. The reader reads the information and decodes it, and then sends it To the central information system for relevant data processing. Radio frequency identification technology has very high read reliability, can quickly obtain data, and most importantly, can save labor and paper.




Advantages of automatic sorting equipment


Able to sort materials continuously and in large quantities


Due to the automatic assembly line operation method, the automatic sorting equipment is not restricted by climate, time, human physical strength, etc., and can operate continuously.


Very low sorting error rate


The sorting error rate of automatic sorting equipment mainly depends on the accuracy of the sorting information entered. If barcode scanning is used for input, unless there is an error in the printing of the barcode, there will be no error. Therefore, the current automatic sorting equipment mainly uses barcode technology to identify materials.


The sorting operation is basically unmanned


One of the purposes of establishing automatic sorting equipment is to reduce the use of personnel, reduce the labor intensity of employees, and improve the efficiency of personnel. Therefore, the automatic sorting equipment can minimize the use of personnel and basically achieve unmanned use.
